SSRocket Beginner Academy
Why should I refresh the subscription? What happens if I do not?
The client only receives the latest nodes, expiry display, and profile changes after a subscription refresh.
SSRocket maintains nodes and subscription profiles, but your client does not automatically know every change. Refreshing the subscription makes the client read the current usable configuration for your account.
Without refresh, you may see
- New nodes missing while old nodes remain.
- An empty or incorrectly ordered node list.
- Outdated expiry, route direction, or profile notes.
- A node switch that appears to happen while the old profile is still used.
When speed is slow, nodes are missing, the list is empty, or you just renewed service, refresh the subscription first, then test another node.
