The short answer
Verify the payment record, the account's current service status and the client configuration separately. If the account shows the expected service, refresh the subscription in your client. If a link has changed, first retrieve the current account information. Missing email or an old client display alone is not a reason to pay again.
Before making a payment
Check the product, period, amount and renewal terms on the current pricing page and the purchase surface you choose. If you are unsure which existing service will be renewed, resolve that question through Help & Guides before paying. An old screenshot is not evidence of current terms.
After payment, check the account record
Open your account center, signing in if prompted. Compare the order record and current service information with the purchase you intended. Keep the order reference and payment time for troubleshooting.
A confirmation email can help identify the transaction, but email delivery and service activation are separate. If an email is missing, check your inbox filters and the account record. If the payment and service state disagree, report that discrepancy instead of making a second payment as a test.
Then check the client
Once the account record is consistent, refresh the client's subscription. If it still uses an old address after a link reset, obtain the current information before importing again. Follow the import guide and confirm that the intended configuration is selected.
If the refresh returns an error, preserve its wording and time. Do not start by reinstalling every device. A URL error, an account discrepancy and a configuration-selection problem need different follow-up steps.
If the checks disagree
Use Submit Feedback from Help & Guides. Include the order reference, approximate time, client and system versions, and a redacted screenshot. Do not include full subscription links, passwords or payment verification codes.
FAQ
Does a missing email mean renewal failed?
No single email result establishes the service state. Check the account and payment record, then ask support to reconcile any discrepancy.
Will refreshing always restore service?
No. Refreshing retrieves configuration; an account issue or changed credential may require a separate resolution.
Should I buy again if the client still shows an old date?
First check the account record and current subscription information. Report conflicting results with your order reference before considering another payment.
