How do I know the current node is really connected?
Do not rely only on the client switch; check the selected node, mode, loading result, and destination behavior together.
- Confirm that the client is connected and that you selected a normal node, not a subscription-server info item.
- Open a website that usually needs this route and confirm it loads.
- Use the same browser to check the displayed network location and see whether it roughly matches the node.
- Then test your real target app or website.
If the client says connected but the destination still fails, the cause may be rules, DNS, account region, cookies, or the third party's risk controls. Compare nodes and modes before reinstalling.
